Rear and side extension including remodelling of the ground floor of a Victorian terraced house. The proposed layout is formed around a central cupboard cluster, forming a free-flow open plan layout around the cluster and the kitchen island. In this way, the front living room is connected to the garden directly, both visually and physically. A linear rooflight over the side extension brings light to the deep plan, while the overall openness makes this a pleasant, delightful space. An "earthy" palette with exposed ash joists, facing bricks, and a feature polished concrete floor, completed with ply kitchen and joinery.
